Last month, I spent a weekend down in Florida on Clearwater beach. The occasion was somewhat of an impromptu high school reunion – 14 friends joined, many who I hadn’t seen since we graduated from high school in 2003.
Life is Very Complicated
Growing up, I attended a very liberal K-12 school. We called our teachers by their first names, we did not receive letter grades until high school, and on particularly nice days many teachers would opt to hold their classes outside.
Ephemera
This week I read Capt. “Sully” Sullenberger’s book “Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters.” It’s a great book – I found it very inspirational. Understandably, the book left me with the feeling that life is delicate and ephemeral.
