Vacation in Maine

I’m on vacation in Maine this week. Plenty of time for relaxation, reflection, and golf. Also planning on reading David Sedaris and Malcolm Gladwell so look forward to an inspired entry next week.

I’ve been coming to the same place for vacation with my family for every summer that I can remember. We stay in rustic cabins right along a very large lake. Since I’ve been coming here a lot of things in the world have changed. The economy, technology, politics, work/school, my life stage – they all change. But this place is different, it’s always the same. I take a great deal of comfort in that.
